Taitara Mahi - Technical Delivery Coordinator Permanent Full-Time this function is part of the Community Facilities & Programmes Group. The Group includes Libraries, Community Centres, Sports Centre, Aquatics Hastings, Social & Youth Development, Toitoi Hawkes Bay Arts & Events Centre, Hastings City Art Gallery and Senior Housing. The purpose of this position is to deliver efficient and effective technical services to clients of Toitoi Hawke's Bay Arts & Events Centre. To provide the best level of customer service at all times working with a professional attitude, enhancing our relationships with the client, and the community. You will also assist in the delivery of Toitoi health & safety procedures and plans and also maintenance of Toitoi equipment. The Technical Delivery Coordinator function will report to the Technical Manager and assist in ensuring a high level of customer practice. The prosperous candidate will have: » A minimum of 3 years' practice as a theatre technician in a venue, conference centre or festival » Proven practice and expertise in Audio / AV / Lighting / Mechanical » practice in working in a team » Well-developed written and oral communication expertise » Sound organisational expertise with the capability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks and initiatives from conception to completion » capability to work on own initiative and within a team structure. » Sound PC expertise with the capability to use Microsoft packages at beginner level Situated in the heart of Ng?ti Kahungunu, the Hastings district and Hawke's Bay offer an enjoyable environment in which to live, work and play.
