Senior Test Analyst

Do you want to be part of one of the largest Information technology departments in New Zealand? Working in an Agile environment we are continuing our journey and are actively promoting agility right all over the Ministry.
To enable the Ministry to better help New Zealanders who need our support, we are experiencing rapid growth in our Information technology area to ensure solutions can be delivered to our front line and our clients quickly.
About the function
We are pursuing energetic highly motivated practiced Senior Test Analyst with a focus on Automation Testing who is interested to grow your test career and expertiseet to join our team. This is your chance to utilise your well demonstrated testing expertise in a large and complex environment.
An overview of your responsibilities
   » Responsible for defining test approaches, creating, maintaining, executing automation tests and analysing results
   » Build strong trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
   » Ensure a high standard of testing is performed

You will need to have
   » Proven practice as a Test Analyst in the automation testing space.
   » Proven capability to meet tight deadlines and analyse/solve problems
   » Functional testing practice through working on complex integrated systems
   » Technically savvy with solid practice writing, executing and maintaining both manual and automated tests
   » Proven practice and expertise in automation tools such as TOSCA, Webdriver, Selenium and Playwright is a big advantage.
   » expertiseable in creating and running SQL queries using SQL Developer, as well as Python and Java scripting
   » practice and expertise in setting up frameworks such as BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) and SBE (Specifications by Example) techniques
   » Worked in Agile projects and in DevOps delivery. Exposure to the Scaled Agile framework (SAFe) would be a definite advantage
   » End to End testing practice in MSD systems such as MyMSD, CMS, EOS, SWIFTT or proven testing practice in another critical payment system will be an advantage
   » practice in using Confluence and Jira
   » ISTQB certification is valued
