Dairy Farm adjunct:Job description:Dairy Farm adjunctPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($24)Job location: Tirau Region: Waikato/Coromandel practice: Limited practice Necessary Listing Added: 20/04/2022 We have a small dairy farm with 300 cows that have already calved in the autumn, and milk through winter. We are seeking for an adjunct to join our manager Lisa to run the dairy farm. We are also looking for a second person to hlep in our large scale calf rearing unit. Both jobs would be for a 6 month fixed term contract starting around 1st June. If you love working with animals in a great team environment please send your curriculum Curriculum for us. The roster will be 11days on, 3 days off. We have a fully furnished, two bedroom farm cottage available for rent. This position involves all aspects of dairy farming including: » Milking » Feeding the cows with tractor and wagon on the feedpad » Setting up paddocks for grazing » General farm work » Administration of animal remedies And any other general farm work or other work as requested by the farm manager.
