this function is responsible for coordinating and delivering the ticketing operation for NZIFF in Wellington to ensure effective, accurate and efficient sales of tickets and ensure timely and accurate reporting on these activities. Provide support for the running of screenings and events as part of NZIFF in Wellington. this function has a managery component.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / NG? TAKOHANGA
   » supervise the coordination and delivery of the NZIFF Wellington ticketing operation and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
   » Action the event build of the NZIFF Wellington ticketing operation.
   » Coordinate and deliver in-house ticketing for NZIFF.
   » Supervise the NZIFF box offices, ensuring correct processes are being followed.
   » supervise the financial reporting and reconciliation of box office revenue from all POS sites in Wellington.
   » Deliver prompt and effective resolution of customer complaints, issues or queries.
   » Coordinate the installation of equipment as and where required, including training users.
   » Assist with the recruitment, rostering, training, and management of NZIFF venue managers, cinema and box office ticketing staff, and volunteers as required.
   » Assist with the coordination and delivery of NZIFF events.
   » Track and record costs for related activity.
   » Provide regular reporting as required
   » Provide report at the conclusion of the contract including recommendations for future improvements.

REQUIRED expertise AND practice / NG? PUKENGA
   » practice in ticketing operations
   » practice in financial reconciliation and record keeping
   » Excellent customer service expertise
   » Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving expertise
   » practice instructing and supervising others
   » capability to work under pressure, identify and effectively manage stress in self and others
   » Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication expertise
   » Advanced time management, organisational and multi-tasking expertise with high attention to detail
   » Intermediate expertise in Microsoft suite, Dropbox, and Google suite
   » practice working in festival or event production and delivery, or a similar environment an advantage
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT / TE ROA O TE MAHI TAHI
This is a full-time contract position for the period of 20 September - 26 November 2021 located in Wellington.
