Hosting up to 200 guests each night Milford Sound Lodge offers a variety of accommodation, guest information and booking services as well as food and beverage through our onsite Pio Pio Café, Bar, Restaurant. Milford Sound Lodge’s Café, Restaurant and Bar, Pio Pio, is searching for a Front of House Professional to be responsible for providing an outstanding customer service practice, delivering our a la carte breakfast, lunch and evening menus, including freshly made barista coffee, and a selection of fine wines and local beers to up to 200 international guests daily. Essential expertise and practice Ø Be passionate about working with people, have exceptional customer service expertise and the practice to back Information technology up Ø Be confident on a barista machine, creating high standard coffees in a fast-paced environment Ø Have the expertise and practice to host up to 200 guests all over the day be Information technology breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, wine, beer, table service, on the bar, back of house Ø Have some practice in the kitchen, our front of house team assist the kitchen with prep as required all over the day as required, they are responsible for the dessert menu during the evening dining service Ø Have some practice as a sommelier and / or a good knowledge of wine service Ø Full drivers’ licence Ø Duty managers licence (willing to organise once position offered) Ø Remote location living practice Ø Shared accommodation living practice Ø Be hands-on, self-motivated, see what needs to be done and do it Ø Be team focused Ø Have an eye for detail Ø Be bright, energetic, motivated and enthusiastic Ø Be organised, well-structured, a dynamic thinker, responsible, reliable and professional Ø Think ‘Green’, Think ‘Nature’ Ø Food Control Plan Aware Ø Health & Safety Aware Details Full time position Candidates must be legal to work in New Zealand (work visa / resident) Hourly rate and heavily subsidised living expenses Accommodated in Milford Sound, onsite at the lodge in a private room with shared facilities 9 days on, 5 days off Visit our website www.milfordlodge.com to see who we are and if this is you…send your CV to [email protected] Skills:
