We are pursuing to employ an enthusiastic Farm adjunct to join our team, just outside of Fairlie, South Canterbury. This positions’ main function is on our 820-cow dairy farm. Milking through a 54 bale rotary shed. Pivot irrigation. We take pride in providing well maintained and reliable gear, plant and machinery. We run a self contained unit in conjunction with our adjacent 450 cow herringbone shed, and run-off block - Which all tie in and work closely together. Although this positions’ main function is on the 820-cow unit, from time to time you may be required to assist on our adjacent unit - our staff all work together as a great team. This position would best suit someone who is available and eligible to work in New Zealand. Work will include but not limited to -Milking -Fencing -Tractor work -Animal health -Feeding calves -General maintenance -Other connected work You will be working with 3 other staff including the 2IC. With support from Manager and Owner. We fully support and encourage PrimaryITO training. In this position you will be issued with a modern well maintained DR200 farm bike for use on farm. Fairlie is a thriving township only 10 minutes drive from the farm. With two local primary schools and 1 high school - farm is on the school bus route. Accomodation available.
