Cafe managerJob location:Bay of Plenty Tauranga Work Type: Permanent » » » »Front of house for a large busy café/bakery »Easy Mt Maunganui location with parking »40hrs, includes one rostered weekend shift Company With over 60 employees, this popular bakery runs a busy retail store and wholesale sandwich manufacturing operation and catering. The café team have worked for this business for several years and we’re looking for a reliable long term addition to the team. They have a great culture and there is growth potential for the right person. The function You will be part of the busy front of house team. The tasks include: » Supervising the front of house team of 3-4 » Opening/closing the bakery » Making coffee » Staking cabinets » Serving customers and cash handling » Clearing tables and cleaning Mornings are busy so you need to be on your game and be able to multitask like a pro. You will be required to work one day in the weekend and rotate opening and closing of the shop. When you open the shift starts at 4am, when you’re on close the shift starts at 8am. The Ideal Person We want you to have a passion for people and love providing top service. Good time management and barista practice are essential and if you’ve been a manager before even better. More than anything you need to be a fun person, hardworking and be flexible to pitch in when the team needs you.
