Aluminum FabricatorLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary 24 to 24 Category Construction & Architecture > Other » » » We are currently seeking experienced Aluminum fabricators to assist in a small but growing factory. Located in Penrose, the factory fabricates aluminum and wood custom garage doors for the high end residential market. Working in a team environment, the successful candidate will preferably have some experience in a fabricating or carpentry industry. One the job training will be provided to those who come with a basic understanding. You should also; » Have excellent attention to detail » Works well in a team environment » Ability to understand and read engineering drawings » Ability to operate fabricating equipment including presses, saws, drills and benders etc. » Ability to follow instructions and initiative to problem solve You will be given the opportunity to use your existing skills and experience as well as expand your knowledge in the aluminum fabricating space. The role will begin on a temporary contract with the potential to move to a permanent contract for the right candidate. To be successful in this role, you should enjoy working in a small team and be able to take initiative. The working hours are 7AM - 3:30PM, M-F. The payrate starts at $24/hr.
