Offer: Calving Support:Job description:Calving SupportPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($23 +accommodation)Job location: Culverden (80mins to Christchurch) Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: No practice Necessary Contact: hr@amuridairying.co.nz Listing Added: 04/02/2022 Calving Support We are seeking for 2 people (would be ideal for two friends or couple) to start in our calving paddock assisting in picking up and tubing newly born calves and identifying calved cows and/or in our calf rearing team. The positions will start immediately on our farm in Culverden, North Canterbury (80 mins north of Christchurch). You need to be confident with lifting and heavy, physical work. The tasks include heavy lifting. Hours of work will vary but will be approx. 9-12 hours a day, 6 days a week on 1 day off during the busiest time and will be paid on an hourly basis. You get to work with others and accommodation will be provided. The Culverden township which has a 4Square, cafe, pub, petrol station etc. You will need a car and a significant licence to drive in New Zealand. No practice is necessary although preference will be given to those with previous agricultulral practice. Please email your CV and a cover email.
