Driver Operator - Class 4Location All CanterburyCanterbury Job type Temporary Salary to Category Trades and Services > Machine Operators » Perm opportunities for the right person » Upskilling and Training » Long haul travel We are searching on behalf of our client for a Class 4 driver/Service Technician. This is an interesting role with a great opportunity to learn new skills. This role will start off as temp but will have perm opportunities for the right person. We are looking to fill this role ASAP. What the role includes; » Driving a class 4 vehicle (mainly a Box body truck) » Traveling 2-3 days a week (staying away, trips can include Invercargill, Nelson, Kaikoura) » Servicing, cleaning, maintaining parts-washer machines » Handling hazardous waste » Monday - Friday (up to 50 hours per week) » Base in Bromley Who you are? We are looking for a mechanically minded, customer orientated and motivated person. It is important that the successful candidate is willing and comfortable to travel and understand that this role Is primarily travelling. What is required for this role? » You will need to hold a DG license » Current Class 4 » Previous driving experience including long haul travel » Willingness to cross train and drive other vehicles if required, such as; Curtain sliders and Vacuum truck » Health and safety conscious What's in it for you?
