Cabinet MakerJob location:Auckland Rodney & North Shore Work Type: Permanent » » » » Relocate with ease; accommodation provided if required; competitive $ » Small team, high end bespoke projects; live in stunning Matakana » As many hours as you want; min 42.5; open to an apprentice or practiced person If you have practice either as a junior or a senior in the cabinet making space, and want to do away with the drive to work while living in paradise, I may have just the opportunity for you. My client is an established thriving Matakana located business, seeking a fourth team member to join a small passionate group of cabinet makers providing bespoke high end kitchens to the local market. With many years’ practice on the team, and a productive and enjoyable culture here, this function would suit someone in the early formative years of construction, or someone who comes with years of practice. You can work as many extra hours as you wish, with a minimum working week of 42.5 hours. Out one window you’ll see Little Barrier and the other, Sandspit – a gorgeous spot! Due to having the capability to offer accommodation for someone relocating from out of town, and the desire to find the right person, we are advertising this function further afield. The function: » Full time 42.5 hour week – plus as many extra hours as you wish » You must be able to read plans and understand basic construction as a minimum requirement » Work from a cutting list & assembling off plans » Manual cutting here – no CNC machine, so extra care and patience for the perfect finish Who you will be: » Either fully qualified with trade practice or an eager and passionate learner » A highly reliable personality with integrity and honesty at the foremost of what you do » A team player, good banter is a bonus » A hard worker who takes pride in their work and finished product » Someone who will pass a drug test If you are seeking accommodation with this position, there is a gorgeous fully furnished two bedroom plus study home with it’s own private entrance, and privacy to relax and enjoy the local views and rural peace. The lawns are mowed for you, the internet is free, and you will only need your suitcase. Local schools provide the best education if you are bringing a youngster with you (really only room for one, possibly two). Within ten minutes you will access some of NZ’s most stunning beaches, restaurants, and movies, as Matakana grows to meet a thriving communities needs.
