About the role: The Sales Representative's purpose is to liaise, manage and develop all sales activities within the prescribed territory, in-line with the strategic business plan while maintaining forecasted sales budgets/targets. Key Job Accountabilities: » Attainment of a high standard of customer service / relationships through the application of sales skills and co-operation with regional resources. » Grow market share by promoting added value and differentiation. » Work with Sales Representatives and operational personnel to establish service objectives / benchmarks, sales budgets and annual objectives. » Ensure that an applicable contract/supply agreement exists for the top 50 Accounts. Review, recommend and negotiate any variations to standard agreements in accordance with company policy. » Supervise contract management data - input, review and maintain - to ensure customers are charged correctly and ALNZ equipment asset records are accurate. » Establish a relationship with the customers to further develop the business partnership between the two companies. » Develop training packages for the customers as needed. These training packages would comprise of safety, quality, innovation, and future development to name a few. » Support other Sales Representatives in the identification and development of opportunities to enhance the region's infrastructure to support BD activities. » Assist ALNZ to attain operational efficiency targets planned to enhance overall profitability and asset utilisation. » Develop a sales plan to grow market share in new and existing business. » Identify competitor threats through SWOT analysis, gathering market intelligence combined with local assessments.
