Senior Network Design Engineer
We are seeking for a Senior Network Design Engineer to join our busy team. this function will act as a key contributor for the Infrastructure and Services (I&S) team, providing network engineering solutions and support for MSD Corporate Solutions. The network solution will provide flexible, highly available, and multitenant LAN/WAN/WIFI, Security, and other network platforms for the support of MSD and other customers.
The MSD Network Environment includes the following Vendors & products : Cisco , Aruba , Zscaler , Infoblox , Genesys , Microsoft , in over 150 MSD NZ sites , NZ Data Centres and Cloud.
Key responsibilities for this function include
   » Interpret designs provided by the Architects and create detailed configurations and templates to implement highly available mission-critical corporate network infrastructure
   » Develop detailed network standards and connected documentation including diagrams and work instructions, monitoring, change procedures, performance and capacity planning instrumentation
   » Develop detailed network project and test plans, independently execute network project plans and select the most effective network hardware/software solutions
Specify detailed BOMs, creatively coordinate and implement complex network changes within allotted windows to maintain SLAs for high availcapability
   » Act as level 3/4 support for network operations and intermediate engineers
Independently complete assigned tasks on time to meet project milestones

income range: $110,952.00 – $135,608.00
