As the exclusive providers of the beautifully hand crafted Sperry tents, Flagship prides itself on being NZ’s premium event company with exceeding standards in service and product offering. We are seeking to fill rolls in both the North Island HQ in Hawkes Bay the other in our South Island HQ in Christchurch. Candidates will be required to deliver, set up and pack down events all around NZ along with inventory maintenance and expansion under the guidance of operation managers. candidates will need strong communication expertise, good work ethic, keen eye for detail and the capability to lgain quickly. This is a great summer gig for travellers working with a young and vibrant team with the opportunity to travel to the most amazing parts of the country. Key Job responsibilities: - Event set ups/ pack downs – Erecting/dismantling marquees, flooring, lighting, furniture – The candidate will need to undergo a proper training in systems, techniques and standards required to complete a set up and pack down of a Flagship event. - Ensure all rental equipment is serviced and clean before every event. - Manage the delivery and collection of hire items, such as tables and chairs for events. - Making sure the shed/office is maintained, cleaned and functional and fits within H & S guidelines. - Vehicle/Truck and trailer servicing - Maintaining & Expanding Hire item offering - Service the hire items all over the season as required. i.e varnishing flooring, fixing/re-oiling tables and chairs, re-painting bars, wiring lighting etc. Essential expertise » Reliable » Personable » Presentable » Strong communication expertise » Strong relationship expertise » Team management expertise » Eye for detail » Hardworking » Prone to a bit of heavy lifting » Constantly looking to improve and make our systems more efficient. » Be able to deal with different issues in a timely manner. » Must have a reasonable level of fitness. Requirement of the Job » Flexible working hours – During the summer season, the days working can be sporadic and may include working weekends and spending nights away in the house on the odd occasion. » Willing to travel – Events will involve a fair bit of driving to locations all around the North and South Island. » Be willing to put in extra hours as required during events. This will be made up for when bookings allow but may require the odd long day during the season. » practice in the event industry is a bonus Skills:
