We work closely with communities to provide services, advice, programmes and events that strengthen and connect communities and create a sense of belonging and pride. We are seeking for a new Event Organiser to join our Event Production team. As an Event Organiser you will work across multiple divisions within Council and local boards, as well as key stakeholders within our communities. You will be confident to work independently but also excel at working in a team, to bring our events to life for our communities! this function contacts with internal and external stakeholders across Auckland, with a focus on small to medium sized community events. located in Auckland, you will work with a portfolio of events delivered across the region, as directed by your manager. We are seeking for a proactive, well organised, people-person who has proven practice in end-to-end delivery. Information technology is also important that you understand tikanga M?ori, our political environment and recognise, we work for the wider Auckland communities. He k?rero m?u: About you To be considered for this function Information technology is key that you have a proactive and consultative communication style, a strong empowering and enabling community focus and the capability to deliver under pressure - keeping all of our stakeholders and our communities happy. You will pride yourself on your excellent time management expertise and your capability to prioritise and deliver in a calm professional manner. A good knowledge of tikanga M?ori and te reo M?ori an advantage. A current full and clean New Zealand Drivers Licence and the capability to travel independently is also essential.
