The function This is an exciting and new opportunity to join the newly established Emissions Programme Office, which has been set up to help the transport system deliver on the Government’s goal of net zero emissions by 2050. Developing and implementing innovative and accessible high-quality reports or progress reports that help decision makers know whether we are on track to deliver against the Emissions Reduction Plan (ERP). You will closely with the Manager to ensure the company is coordinated and on track to deliver the portfolio of transport initiatives within the ERP. This means helping to establish and embed robust systems, processes, and governance arrangements, and using your problem solving and influencing expertise to identify and manage risks across the programme.
