We are preparing for a busy Summer with the border re-opening we are ready to welcome back our international tourists! this function is multi-dimensional which requires the applicant to have good initiative, able to multi task effectively and have excellent customer service.
 
We are seeking to hire someone that has the desire to grow and work their way up in the company. The ideal candidate is someone that at the end of the Summer Season will step into the permanent full-time function of Office Manager and can work alongside the management team to continue to assist in the overall growth and development of the Waimarino Group.
 
Basic tasks include:
Management
-          Be a team leader, function model and motivator
-          Ensure the correct and proper processes and quality management procedures
-          Work with Office Manager to supervise staff members and ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism is maintained.
-          Day to day management of the Adventure Park Reception
Human Resources
Assisting the Office Manager with:
-          Recruitment
-          Training
-          Rostering (contact with Office manager, Operations manager and OSCAR manager as required).
-          Performance reviews
Administration
-          Greeting customers, you will be first point of contact for all clients in the Adventure Park, Kayak Tours and Education Trust in person and over the phone
-          Explaining and advising on products and services for the Adventure Park and Kayak Tours from developed in depth expertise of products and processes.
-          Quoting for group programmes, team building events and tours.
-          Taking bookings over the phone, email and in person including processing payments, bookings and invoicing
-          Invoicing agents and groups on behalf of Waimarino Adventure Park and Waimarino Kayak Tours
-          Acknowledging and replying to all customer feedback and reviews
-          Minor marketing tasks
Communication and Company Culture
-          Ensure there are open lines of communication with all staff, at all levels at all times.
-          Take an active part in management meetings
 
Adventure Park tasks as required include:
-          Operating Waimarino Adventure Park activities
-          Assisting with everyday start up and close down routines of the Adventure Park
 
Position Specifics
-     Start date 3rd October 2022
-     Rostered and varied workload with no fixed working schedule
-     Hours range from 40-60 a week during the peak season depending the workload and on your eargerness to take on new responsibilites
-     We operate 7 days per week and close Christmas Day only. The applicant will be required to work weekends and public holidays. Some 6-day weeks will also be required during our peak times of school holidays and Christmas holidays.

-            &n bsp;  Highly organised individual with an eye for detail, initiative and effective communication expertise.
-     Thrives working in a team environment and in a customer facing position
-     Technical skill and practice with Vend, Rezdy, Microsoft and Outlook preferred.
-     Exceptional safety consciousness and attention to detail.
-     Excellent written and verbal communication expertise
-     Tourism Industry, Management and Customer Service practice preferred
-        practice working in an administrative position
-     Are physically fit and mentally alert
-     Enjoy the outdoors
-     Clean, Full drivers’ licence (capability to drive manual and gain a P endorsement preferred)
-     First Aid Certified
