We have a great new function for an practiced Wellbeing Advisor who is passionate about supporting Pacific students to be prosperous in their tertiary education, improving mental health results and wellbeing literacy.
The function of Student Wellbeing Advisor, Pacific is part of a university-wide Student Wellbeing team building the capacity of other staff to support those students experiencing emotional distress, mental health issues, or concerning behaviour. In addition, the function collaborates broadly to promote and develop the wellbeing and resilience of the student body, specifically Pacific students.
The function understands student wellbeing within a shared university-wide framework. Information technology assists in the provision of a responsive and effective pastoral care service that improves student success, retention, and practice for students across the three campuses, distance students, and those studying offshore. You will assist in the provision of a responsive and effective pastoral care service that improves student success, retention, and practice for students across the three campuses and distance students including those studying offshore. In return, we provide a supportive and close-knit team on each campus enabling a great working environment.
There is a particular emphasis on working collaboratively across Te Kunenga ki P?rehuroa with other Pacific support staff and with family, and members of the community.
