We are keen to hear from Senior Planners who are interested in the opportunity to deliver the most value with not only processing applications but in acting as a back-up to our team leaders, making sound decisions and acting as a mentor to some of our less practiced staff. The planner who will be prosperous in securing this position will have: » The confidence to make hard decisions and the capability to peer review work and provide valuable feedback » The capability to approve applications under the delegation authorised » broad practice in processing resource consents within a local government framework » A sound knowledge of the Resource Management Act 1991 and related legislation » prosperous candidates need to have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa We are seeking for someone who is capable of providing support to the team while managing their own workload and who can impart a wide variety of expertise and practice to the organization.
