Scrum Lead• Wellington located• Permanent and fixed term Overview of position: We have opportunities for Scrum Leads who want to make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders and contribute to impactful work within the Housing Group. You'll either hit the ground running or be eager to grow in a function that supports our Value Streams to further develop our Agile culture and practices. The Scrum lead supports teams in their Agile Scrum practices and events. This includes everyday planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. this function works to assist teams to identify and remove their impediments, to collaborate across teams, and find better ways to visualize, communicate and deliver their work. You will: • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt and demo events to ensure prosperous delivery. • Tracking and reporting of sprints, PI's, release progress and team improvement. • Facilitates regular team meetings, including everyday stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives • Foster a safe and trusting environment where team members are enabled and inspired to work collaboratively to support high team performance • Coach teams in Agile practices, ensuring they are aware of their respective functions and how to fulfil them and that they understand the business goals and vision • Build the capcapability of the team members to enable them to respond to changing demands to keep activities running smoothly You will have: • Strong leadership abilities expertise and a track record of empowering teams to find advanced ways to deliver • Strong practice in Agile methodologies capability to manage conflicting priorities and work streams • Excellent communication expertise including the capability to confidently present to all aspects of the business. • Highly developed and applied attention to detail • practice in negotiating constructive results in complex environments Position Descriptionhttps://www.msd.govt.nz/hr/documents/position-descriptions/dce- service-delivery/scrum-lead-october-2021.docxincome range: $99,546.00 – $120,778.00Closing date: 2 August 2023Joining us Joining MSD means being part of a wh?nau that celebrates the diversity each individual represents.
