Our client is a leading, privately owned packaging and resource recovery company, with more than 120 sites across Australia, New Zealand and SEA.
The purpose of this role is to undertake various general administrative and adhoc activities and to provide assistance to the leadership team to support the smooth operation of the plant.

Major Accountabilities:
   » Provide support to the Plant Manager and the management team with general administrative tasks, presentations and reports as required.
   » Support with the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees which includes allocation of uniform, lockers, security access.
   » Raise purchase orders, invoicing, goods receipting and simple reconciliations including GRIR for plant related items.
   » Enter production data into SAP on a daily basis and produce reports as requested.
   » Liaise with the Finance teams on queries and support employees with expense claim processes when and if required.
   » Manage general office and stationary supplies.
   » Co-ordinate and oversee the mail and courier services to ensure timely deliveries.
   » Manage the uniforms and other equipment to ensure clothing and equipment is available in a timely and cost effective manner.
   » Manage security passes, identifications and other equipment in line with the security policy to ensure that all employees have appropriate access. Provide access records as required.
   » Co-ordinate / support with the organisation of visits, meetings and other plant-based events and site initiatives by arranging rooms / venue, catering, equipment and other associated aspects.
   » Support all functions with coordinating plant and functional activities.
   » Assist and liaise with some external parties re catering, cleaning and laundry requirements to ensure safe, smooth and cost effective operations that meet the needs of the business.
   » Monitor and oversee the contract cleaners on site through daily meetings / checks and activities.
   » Co-ordinate fork hoist allocation, breakdowns / repairs and associated administrative duties.
   » Support all relevant employees to access online travel services and support with travel bookings as required.
   » Ensure reception area and non-manufacturing areas are maintained to a high standard.
   » Arrange the purchase, replacement, repair and allocation of radio's and headsets.
   » Day to day management of catering / canteen facilities ensuring that adequate supplies are readily available for staff including milk, tea /coffee etc.
   » Oversee the functioning of the on-site gym for staff and contractors. This includes organizing the committee meetings, taking minutes, executing / following up on actions. Arranging gym inductions and personal trainer schedules.
   » Main contact for security / gate system / entry.
   » Act as the liaison and a contributor to internal communications.
Mandatory
   » Proven general administration and office management experience
   » Experience of working in a large manufacturing environment is highly desirable
   » SAP user experience is highly desirable
   » Proficient MS Office user experience and skills are essential
   » Experience of processing purchase orders / basic financial tasks
   » Experience of supporting a management team
Experience in arranging meetings, taking minutes and supporting on presentations / reports
