About you To be prosperous in this relationship-driven function, you will draw on your practice in business development, sales, or account management. » Highly organised and collaborative, you delight in building relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders » You're a dab hand in developing sales strategy for your portfolio, growing your sales pipeline, setting targets and budgets, and reporting » With strengths in acquiring and maintaining key accounts, you're comfortable getting out and about, engaging with clients directly be Information technology one on one, at industry events or trade shows. About the function located in the iconic Michael Fowler Centre, and reporting to the Business Development Manager for Business Events, success in this function looks like: » Crafting proposals that resonate with clients, and negotiating the T&Cs for the betterment of both organisations; » Maximising venue utilisation through smart pipeline management and strong relationships » Collaborating with the Business Events Wellington team to attract and secure domestic and international conferences and business events for the greater Wellington region. » Clients are delighted with their event practice Remuneration for this function will be located on the skill set and competencies that the prosperous applicant brings to the function.
