This is a pivotal role with a New Zealand team, the Management Accountant will assist in making critical business decisions by analysing and presenting key financial data. They oversea accounting procedures and prepare forecasts, budgets, and risk analysis. With an exceptional mathematical mind combined with strong business acumen, they will lead all accounting tasks and be both a strategist and decision maker. The goal is to contribute to the decision-making process of management that will ensure business growth and long-term success. The objectives of the of the Management Accountant include: » Improve financial performance » Provide business accounting skills ensuring business and financial needs of the business unit in New Zealand are being met » Improve data confidence levels to ensure sound financial decisions » Assistant in the preparation of monthly budgets » Month end accounting including reconciliations and journals » Processing all transactions to facilitation timely and accurate management accounts » Complete all accounts receivable tasks with assistance of finance team » Supervise with the accounts payable tasks with the assistance of finance team » Budgeting and reporting » Advising on strategic planning and business planning » Completing all tax-related material » Overseeing benefits and compensation packages » Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements » Providing financial analysis and forecasting Under the spotlight - Who is Our cleint Operating from 3 main divisions; OEM, Telematics & Retail, we partner with leading global brands to bring product to market across leading National Retailers, Specialist Chains, Independent Stores, plus an extensive network of trade and OEM customers.
