We require a fixed term Farm adjunct to join our team over calving. · Close to town – 10 minutes South East of Ashburton · On the Job Training – we will give you the training and support needed to begin your dairy farming career · We value a positive attitude above practice! Any farming/practical practice is a bonus, but not necessary · House provided – a 3 bedroom house comes with this position if required (semi-furnished) · Roster negotiable this function will have you involved in a full range of farm tasks including milking, animal health, fencing and feeding calves. We milk 800 cows through a 54 bale Rotary with automated technology. Short walks for the cows, excellent calf sheds with milk pumped to each pen. Supporting the dairy farm are two neighbouring run-offs for wintering and young stock. You must be able to pass a Drug Test and have a Restricted or Full Licence.
