A great opportunity is available for an practiced Logistics Co-ordinator to join a dynamic team for customer focused individuals.
About the function:
   » You will be responsible for presenting complete & correct shipping documents to customers & brokers to ensure on-time processing & clearance of orders
   » Ensure weekly shipping schedules are provided to customers and the business on status of open orders
   » Review & drive freight costs down ensuring best rates are provided by primary forwarders
   » Analyse the logistics costs to better utilize the resources at the various branches to ensure we are deploying logistics in the local market
About you:
   » Min 5 years Logistics practice in shipping internationally with significant qualifications in Logistics
   » expertise of shipping out of Asia and into the USA would be a bonus
   » Has worked with electronics and dangerous goods freight
   » Sound supply chain & customer service practice managing everyday shipping delivery schedules to customers
   » Proven capability to manage both tactical and strategic workload, with exceptional time management
   » availability to work in a fast-paced environment, can handle multiple demands & be flexible in your approach
   » Excellent attention to detail, time management and accuracy
   » Strong verbal and written communication expertise
   » Exceptional stakeholder management and a service focused approach
   » Proficient in Microsoft office suite
   » practice with ERP system and previous practice with inventory management systems
