They are currently seeking an practiced Health & Safety Advisor to report to the People and Performance Manager, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of the companies health and safety processes and systems. Job responsibilities: » Develop and monitor a Health & Safety plan » Ensuring Health & Safety management system continues to comply with legislation » All policies, systems and processes are reviewed regularly and continuously improved » Providing H&S in-house training for managers and employees » Providing advice when required expertise & practice: » 3+ years’ practice in a Health and Safety support function » practice in the application of the HSWA and ACC Acts, along with connected Regulations and Codes of Practice » practice in the development of health and safety policy and processes » practice within the events industry is highly beneficial » A current NZ drivers licence To be prosperous in this function, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication expertise, the capability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure while demonstrating a high level of initiative.
