About the function: As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for building a pipeline of new business as well opportunities within the commercial arm of the business. Hunting new opportunities and working with warm leads will be your absolute forte, opening doors and leveraging relationships to expand the client base of the business. You’ll be working with a wide variety of industry and love getting out and about winning new business. You must be able to communicate, present and build relationships with a wide variety of clients. This is a great function where not only will you be responsible for generating new business and converting into sales, you’ll also be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour, by managing and maintaining the clients for 6 months before passing onto the skilled account managers. This is a function that will be highly compensateing for that right person with an insatiable hunger for new business. Information technology will keep you stimulated with the blend of being out and about - meeting with new clients or working in the head office/in the house ensuring the deliverables are being met for the valued top key clients of the business. WFH days, and a company car will be provided.
