Job Summary:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be based in our Christchurch office and play a crucial role in driving sales growth by proactively generate prospecting new business opportunities. You will work closely with the Head of Sales to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your sales skills and contribute to the success of a leading technology company.

Key Responsibilities:
   » Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our tracking solutions.
   » Contact and follow up with inbound leads generated from our digital marketing campaigns and referrals.
   » Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and identify potential customers in target industries.
   » Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
   » Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop effective sales strategies and meet monthly sales targets.
   » Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
   » Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
   » Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
Requirements:
   » Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with experience in developing new business opportunities.
   » Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
   » Excellent communication and presentation skills.
   » Self-motivated, results-driven, and target-oriented.
   » Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
   » Knowledge of fleet tracking or related technology solutions is a plus.
   » Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as needed.
