They’ve recently rebranded and with excellent leaders in place are looking to continue evolving their business. You’d think with all this uncertainly the culture would be unreliable. But it’s not. Its collaborative, down to earth, practical and engaged. We need extra skills in the HR space hence why we’d like to engage you for a fixed term piece of work within a designated business unit. The Job You will work with the GM of this business unit to first of all do the deep dive and see what’s going on. Find out what’s good, what’s bad, what’s working and what’s not. You’ll look at everything from Information technology to current systems to people, and get right in at the heart. From then we want someone whose going to creatively engage Managers and challenge them on how things are, and how they can be done differently. This will result in organisational design planning and potential restructure. The teams are located all around the country. Head office is Tauranga, so you’ll need to be onsite at times, but there will be travel out to regional sites to meet with Managers and their teams. this function could be located in Tauranga, Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch – but realistically anywhere if you’ve got the right practice. The Ideal Person practice is key; the ideal person will be someone whose got a good background in org design. In addition someone who enjoys building quality deep relationships will be most effective. This business is made up of salt of the earth Kiwis (lots of engineers and pragmatic thinkers) so appreciate trust, transparency and good communication.
