Given the pace of growth and projects now moving from design to a need for delivery, the priority is now for a project engineer to join the team. this function sits in the Councils Property and Infrastructure Team who are a dynamic, talented and globally mixed team. this function's primary purpose is to focus on key roading projects in the planning including active travel. It's a diverse function that will see you interacting with multiple teams through the design and delivery phases. The key focus will be supporting the Engineering Manager from a delivery perspective providing technical guidance to the project managers. Reporting to the Engineering Manager your function will be: » Concept design management and review » Providing technical quality assurance support » Ensuring that projects are delivered in conformity with PMO standards and methodologies » Scoping and review of projects scopes/project plans » Engaging and managing consultants for design projects safety in design risk reviews » Assisting and guiding project procurement support » Contract specification reviews As an applicant, We are seeking for a background with the following: » Tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering » At least 5 years' practice worked in a consultancy project manager function or a site/project engineer function across planning and delivery with strong exposure to roading projects » Proven practice with the application of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 » practice within risk identification, infrastructure planning, design overview and management » Exceptional communication and personal motivation abilities In return for your efforts, you will be remunerated with: » income $100K - $120K + access to vehicle » Up to $10K support for relocation and accommodation » Access to well being programmes such as a gym membership, part time work in the house options, flexi hours » Southern Cross » Outgoing and social team environment including regular social events to be a part of For more information , please call Matt on 0275544064 or email your details to Email address: matt.shortt@beyond.co.nz Ref: 109256 Apply Now Hi I'm Matt, I manage this function.
