Job Offer: Junior Designer:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation pead Closes 12 May 2021 Posted on 3 May 2021 Region Auckland Work type Full time employment Work classification Design, Digital & Technology, Marketing & Media ShareWe're on the hunt for a confident and proactive Junior Designer to work with Pead across a wide variety of exciting clients- helping to grow our creative offering in the process.Most agency functions stress the importance of having previous agency practice. Here 1-3 years' practice is a plus but not a mandatory. What we're most interested in is finding a designer, creative or creatively-minded mac op with a passion for design of all scales and outputs - the beautifuland the beautifully functional. The function will include everything from prettifying a presentation deck on a tight deadline, to injecting creativity into inspiring consumer-facing work. If there's space for great design elsewhere, you should be the first to let us know. Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) will be a second language, but you shouldn't be afraid of getting stuck into a Powerpoint doc. You'll be able to understand and respect brand guidelines, while creating client-challenging work when the brief needs pushing. You should see yourself as a problem solver and an opportunity seeker. Our Pead team wants drive, intellect, energy, ideas and a touch of sass. We want someone who will share a drink with us in the good times, and takeaways when the work's busy. You'll be a vital component of a driven and energetic team, in a recently rebranded agency landing new and vibrant work, with a focus on creativity first. To get a little more technical, here's what the job requires day-to-day: » Act as a Pead brand guardian, ensuring all work is on brand and delivered to the highest standard » Work with our nimble Creative Team to translate and visualise campaign concepts into impressive pitch decks » Ad-hoc consumer-facing design work, for a variety of brands » Produce comp work to create campaign mockups » Basic image retouching » Assist Account Teams in briefing external creative suppliers » Manage and maintain client asset database You will have? » skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign » Basic level of practice in Premiere Pro (preferred but not essential) » High level of creative technical literacy » High level of self-motivation and capability to deliver to deadlines If this sounds like a lot of you, send an application to: tom.davies@wearepead.co.nz by 12th May 2021.
