Job Opportunity: Calf Rearer:Job description:Calf RearerPayment: Paid Position ($23-$27)Job location: Hinds, Ashburton Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 05/07/2022 CALF REARER required to join the team on our family dairy farm in HINDS, south of ASHBURTON. Raising 175 replacement calves and 100 beef calves. practice not necessary, however, to be prosperous in this demanding, but compensateing function we absolutely require you to have the following personality attributes; positive, reliable, honest, thorough, sound work ethic, organised, punctual, mature, physically fit and able bodied (heavy lifting required), able to work as part of a team, clear communicator and most importantly have a natural affinity caring for young livestock. We are offering $23 per hour plus holiday pay if you're inpracticed, BUT enthusiastic and willing. Or $27 plus holiday pay if you're practiced in calf rearing and need little assistance once having learnt the initial ropes. Shared accommodation is available on farm, own ensuite, but shared living quarters. Rent is $100 per week per person. No pets sorry.
