Senior Policy Analyst - HousingJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Fast paced Policy Team within a busy, diverse, and friendly Branch. »Drive transformational change across the Housing Sector. »Immediate Start available – Permanent function - $110k-$130k The Organisation Public Sector Client looking for an practiced Senior Policy Analyst to join the Housing Policy Team. The team focuses on ensuring that vulnerable people at the lower end of the housing market have a safe and healthy place to live in order to build better lives, and leading and working on policies that make a difference for underprivileged people in the Housing market. The function • As a member of the team, you will be working both across the Ministry and with a range of agencies and stakeholders to support this mission. • Responsible for providing or contributing to clear, well-reasoned, and politically neutral advice on housing-related issues. You will also be responsible for engaging with stakeholders and the community, working collaboratively on projects both within the Ministry and across other agencies, bringing together evidence to draw conclusions. • Work closely with Service delivery groups and policy teams to deliver fit for purpose Policy end to end, from Development stages through to Operational Implementation. • Additional responsibilities include providing or contributing to advice on complex issues with minimal support, building relationships and leading engagement with stakeholders, both internally and outside of the Ministry, and helping to build the capcapability of people in the team, including supporting junior staff on their projects.
