M? te t?nga | The function this function is fixed term until June 2022, located in the Wellington region. Reporting to the Programme Manager Data Sourcing your main focus is building strong relationships with key organisations, agencies and community groups within the Accessibility/Discapability Sector. You will lead discussions and workshops to build an knowledge of the barriers to participation around accessibility, and provide expert and informed advice to Stats NZ about accessibility requirements, considerations, approaches and results for people in New Zealand who access technology platforms or use different forms of communication (this will provide support and advocacy for people who may use accessible formats and may not be easily able to participate). You will play a key function in supporting all phases of the Data Sourcing programme to deliver benefits to Stats and our suppliers while being agile to change. Starting income: $82,827 – $112,061 negotiable M?u | About you As a Specialist in Accessibility you will have demonstrated practice working with accessibility tools/technology or users or within the sector, and in delivering accessible solutions.
