The position covers the MidCentral District Health Board area with an urban and rural population of approximately 168,000. This is a key position offering the prosperous candidate the opportunity to join our existing AOD service medical staff and to take a function in continuing service development. We are particularly interested to hear from you if you have an interest in supporting the development of services to best meet the needs of clients who have co existing substance misuse and mental health disorders. Our overall philosophy is encompassed by a commitment to harm reduction. Our client base is approximately 600 with approximately two thirds on the Opioid Substitution Treatment programme and a third on the Generic Programme.
