Kaiwhakaratonga R?ngai/Sector Services agent:HainesAttractJob description:Job DescriptionNational Services Te Paerangi works in partnership with museums, galleries and iwi all over Aotearoa/New Zealand, offering a range of practical and strategic programmes aimed at strengthening the sector. we At Presenthave a permanent full-time vacancy for a highly organised person with a strong interest in museums and galleries to join our small but dedicated team.Kaiwhakaratonga R?ngai is responsible for providing the National Services Te Paerangi with coordination, administration, evaluation and accurate record keeping and reporting, as well as providing specific support for museums, galleries and iwi. The function is responsible for coordination and supporting sector and iwi development programmes and grant opportunities and is often is the first point of contact into sector services support at Te Papa. To be prosperous in this function you will be a team player with previous office management practice. You will have a proven capability to manage relationships and practice working with iwi M?ori and diverse communities. We are seeking for applications from candidates who can demonstrate initiative and the capability to balance multiple priorities, plan and organise, and work to deadlines under pressure. While not essential museum and gallery sector or cultural organisation practice or a related qualification is an advantage as is practice working with iwi stakeholder groups. The income range for this position is $48,000 to $63,000. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the expertise and practice offered by the candidate and those required of the function, and internal relativities with other employees. candidates must have the capability to obtain and maintain the legal right to work in New Zealand. From 1 July 2022 appointment to a position at Te Papa will require a declaration of Vaccination Status (confirmation that you are currently ‘up to date’ with vaccination against COVID 19 or, you are not currently vaccinated or ‘up to date’ with vaccination against COVID-19). Future appointees will also need to agree to comply with any future Government or Te Papa mandates or requirements relating to vaccination against COVID-19.
