Pivotal function in supporting the implementation of a new programme of work to reduce sexual violence in Aotearoa
We have a great opportunity to join our team as our Project Coordinator, supporting the Health Consensual Relationships (HCR)/Oranga Whakapapa (OW) programme of work. This is a newly created function, and We are seeking for an practiced Project Coordinator to help shape and lead our project and programme support team. In this position you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure all activities are aligned and delivered to meet the programme objectives.
this function will align to the Oranga Whakapapa team. Our Oranga Whakapapa team represents a new way of working with M?ori communities, organisations, iwi, hap? and wh?nau to design, procure, and deliver a Te Tiriti o Waitangi-centric primary avoidance framework that is integrated and aligned to ACC’s vision of an Aotearoa New Zealand, free from family and sexual violence. Our approach to designing and delivering M?ori services will be underpinned by the principles and articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi which provide for the unique relationship between the government and M?ori as tangata whenua.
About the function
In this function you will be accountable for providing administrative and coordination support to the Oranga Whakapapa Lead and the wider programme team. You will work with workstream and project leads to coach them through the development and integration of their plans into an overall programme plan.
What We are seeking for from you will include the following:
   » You will bring similar practice in an administration, office management or coordination function
   » As this is a busy and varied function, We are seeking for someone who brings a strong can-do attitude and is willing to “roll up their sleeves” and help support a range of functions within the team
   » You may not have all the technical expertise or practice initially, but you’ll be willing to learn
   » You enjoy working as part of a team and are a real team player.
   » M?ori cultural capcapability to a working level and expertise of te reo M?ori and tikanga practices
   » practice or expertise of wh?nau-centred and m?tauranga M?ori approaches
