The Position
A newly created position within the business, this is a rare opportunity for a technical project lover, an ‘ideas person’ who can plan, budget, and implement new centralised ways of working within the business – from phone networks to new centralised systems, to mentoring and building the Customer Service team – this is a stimulating function for the right person. You will be able to map out new ideas as well as engage and excite the team, in order to bring them along for the journey.
Essentially, you’ll be the pioneer for optimising output and ensuring an impeccable level of service within the Customer Service & Sales team is being provided. You’ll be agile and open minded when Information technology comes to change and will be the type of person who embraces change and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
About you:
A truly multifaceted position, this function will see you supervising 6 direct reports as well as getting stuck into projects, so you’ll be a bit of unicorn who loves technology as much as you do people. You’ll ideally have come from technical sales, or an industrial background working with technical products, not just services. Most importantly you’ll have a proven track record in centralising call centres and customer service teams using a mix of strategy, technology and through cultivating a positive team culture.
