Information technology has long been the home of New Zealand transport and technology and is transforming to create immersive and exciting environments in which to tell incredible stories.MOTAT is seeking an Exhibitions Graphic Designer who will be responsible for developing high quality, professional graphic design for exhibitions and other signage around MOTAT, in conformity with the exhibition development process. You will have a great knowledge of producing a broad range of graphic design within a multi-faceted environment. As a key member of the Exhibitions team you will have a collaborative approach and work as part of a team dedicated to devising and delivering exhibitions located on MOTAT's strategic goals and aligned with our collection strengths and target audiences. We are seeking for a creative Graphic Designer with demonstrated 5 years plus practice in design within a museum or similar visitor-focussed environment. The capability to apply this to a STEAM-located visitor practice is desirable. You will have practice in a wide variety of display materials and techniques. Key to the function are excellent time management expertise with the capability to juggle multiple deadlines and prioritise workloads across multiple projects. Strong project management and contractor management expertise as essential as you will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
