Working in a busy Kitchen which looks after a 148 room hotel, you will be responsible for providing assistance to the Kitchen brigade in ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept hygienic and clean at all times. Core tasks: » rinse dirty crockery and cutlery, stack in the dishwasher, unload and put away » wash pots by hand » ensure that all Food and Beverage outlets are provided with clean and sanitized operating equipment » use correct handling techniques to transport and store food items » wipe down benches » sweep and mop floors » Assist with Food preparation when required The ideal candidate will have: » good verbal and written English communication expertise » Physically fit for a demanding and busy job » Reliable and punctual » Previous practice in a commercial kitchen is an advantage Some people can’t help themselves, they brighten others days.
