Job Opportunity: Blueberry Pruners:Job description:Blueberry PrunersPayment: Paid Position (21.20)Job location: 178 Turkington Road, RD3 Cambridge Region: Waikato/Coromandel practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 27/05/2022 Monavale Organic Blueberries are looking for assistance with our annual pruning. Located at Monavale, just 10 minutes drive from Cambridge (your own transport is essential). Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, weather dependent. Start date Tuesday 7th June for approximately 8 weeks. Further outdoor work may be available after this for orchard maintenance prior to our harvest which begins in November, and then harvest work until end of March. You will be physically fit, able to bend, reach, stretch etc If you have an interest in organic growing, are honest, reliable and dependable, are able to take direction, training and can work in a team, then please apply. practice is not really necessary though a good attitude and a desire to get the job done is a requirement. You must have a valid work visa, IRD number and bank account. Minimum pay is $21.20 per hour (plus holiday pay, less tax) paid weekly into your bank account. We may have accommodation available on the orchard ($25 per person per night or $150 pp per week), or you will require accommodation nearby and your own transport.
