From mid-January, we are on the hunt for a receptionist / cleaner to work at our award-winning hostel located in Mount Maunganui! Reception is open from 8am till 9pm. this function will have morning cleaning shifts 8am - 1pm and afternoon reception shifts 3pm - 9pm (starting time may vary). You could work the morning and afternoon shifts, having a slipt shift, or only the morning shift or only the afternoon shift. Information technology depends of the roster. Roster given 2 weeks in advance. Same 2 days off every week. Hours will be 30+ hours to start with, however hours can increase. Needs to be available to work public holidays and weekends. Some of your reception tasks will be : Customer service, Cash handling, Answering the phone calls and emails, Keeping the facilities clean all over your shift, Marketing tasks... Some of your morning cleaning tasks will be : making beds, cleaning the communal areas and the rooms, do laundry... We need someone who is flexible, who pays attention to detail, takes pride for a job well done , who has a great work ethic and a team player to fulfill this function. You'll be responsible to keep our facilities tidy and clean all over your shift. Pacific Coast Lodge is an award-winning hostel that helps backpackers who stay with us find work in the area.
