Nga Ratonga – Our services EaseUp is an exciting new community-located service located in Waitemata and are looking for a Tautoko-a-aropa / Peer support to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work in an innovative addiction assessment and treatment setting supporting Rangatahi / youth aged 12-24 years. Much of the services offered by our EaseUp whanau are provided to people in their own homes and communities. The service works within the principles of abstinence and harm reduction and in a holistic manner, recognising the multi-faceted problems that co-exist with AOD addiction. You will be a resilient natural leader, approachable, happy to support and offer guidance to colleagues, and most importantly who a Service Manager can trust and rely on. He korero mo te turanga – The function Using your lived practice with addictions, your mental health qualifications and certificates, you will offer invaluable insights and a journey that will inspire our Rangatahi / youth. You will be providing community-located Peer Support to Rangatahi /youth ages 12-24 across the WDHB region. The function is a full time, permanent position and requires you to be flexible with the working hours but generally you will work between the hours of 8 am – 4.30 pm or 8.30 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.
