Working as Psychologist in the Wellington office team, you will be exposed to a variety of mahi, both in a group and individual therapeutic environment, across Community Probation and Prison Services.
Our Psychologists undertake clinical assessments and treatment in prison and in the community, provide supervision, advice and training within Corrections and allied agencies, monitor the integrity of rehabilitation programmes and participate in service and research initiatives. Treatment provision includes group programmes for both sexual and violent offences. Our more practiced Psychologists complete assessments for the New Zealand Pafunction Board and the Court and could be asked to act as an Expert Witness.

   » Is reliable with strong communication expertise
   » Has a minimum of a Masters degree in Psychology and registration with the NZ Psychologist Board in the clinical/counselling or general scope of practice

Please note that candidates must hold registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and will be required to complete a full disclosure criminal history check and pre-employment drug tests.
The position is salaried from $76,860-$117,300 depending on the practice and competency level of the prosperous candidates.
