About the function this function will encompass managing investigational drug inventory, providing technical direction and assistance with clinical trial protocols, undertaking investigational drug distribution activities, maintaining clinical trial information and assisting in the record keeping related to clinical trials as required by the study protocols. As you will work with both the Clinical Trials Unit and the Pharmacy Department, you will require excellent communication expertise and the capability to work autonomously and independently. About you • Previous hospital clinical trials (preferred but not essential) and aseptic compounding practice. • Knowledge in Good Clinical Practice and its application to work practices. • capability to work collaboratively with other teams and independently towards a common goal. • Computer literacy. • An organised methodical, neat, accurate worker. • Reliable and punctual. • NZQA Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) Level 5 qualification. • Focused on delivering high quality care for the patient/client/wh?nau. • Well-coordinated, effective, efficient and planned service provision. • A commitment and knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi (and application to health) and a availability to work positively in improving health results for Maori. • Continual improvement focus.
