About the function this function will encompass both ward-located clinical and dispensary activities, with the support of dedicated pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The function includes participation in ward rounds, medicines reconciliation, discharge counselling, dispensary services, and promoting the safe and quality use of medicines. Areas of clinical opportunities may include intensive care, paediatrics, and other specialised disciplines. You would be expected to provide high-quality, effective clinical pharmacy services with a focus on improving patient results and ensuring optimal medicines utilisation. About you • Qualified pharmacist with 2+ years of clinical practice working in a hospital environment. • Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (recognised in NZ) or equivalent. • NZ Registered Pharmacist (or eligible to register). • Be enthusiastic and able to work in a team. • Contribute to the continuing professional development of yourself and others. • expertise of current legislation and its application to work practices. • Competent keyboard expertise. • Be an organised methodical, neat, accurate worker. • Must be reliable and punctual.
