The opportunity
The work we do in the MSD Enterprise Architecture team helps to enable the Ministry, its partners, and the New Zealand Government to deliver critical social services to improve the lives of New Zealanders. With many large-scale initiatives underway, we're looking to expand our Enterprise Architecture team.
As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you'll shape and drive our future architecture vision and strategy that delivers New Zealand's social services. You'll have a wide sphere of influence across the Ministry. You'll be a part of one of the largest Information technology groups in the country, with the size and capcapability to make a major contribution to New Zealand society through innovative technology.
About you:
This is a great opportunity if you're a naturally consultative and you're looking for an opportunity to shape and lead enterprise-wide programmes of work. You'll also have:
   » A breadth of architecture practice from across the technology industry.
   » A strategic mindset, with the capability to negotiate a pragmatic balance between short-term and long-term benefits.
   » A strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and best-practice architecture patterns and principles.
   » Previous enterprise architecture practice in the public sector and/or working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment is an advantage.
You’ll be highly skilled in:
   » Developing business-led architecture strategies and roadmaps.
   » Stakeholder management and communication at all levels.
   » Working with and leading teams.
   » Supporting governance and guiding decision-making.
