At the Service Delivery and Operations branch, we are the face of DIA. H?pai H?pori - Community Operations supports iwi, hap? and communities to lead their own development.This is a great opportunity for a highly self-motivated Community Advisor to join our National Funds Te Ao M?ori team working alongside M?ori to achieve their aspirations. This is a fixed term position for 1 year. As a Kaitohutohu H?pai, H?pori your key function is to engage with Hapu, Iwi,Marae and Communities to provide information and advice and connect them with the resources they need to meet their aspirations. You will have a primary focus on progressing the Oranga Marae Programme and other significant funding streams. There will also be opportunities to contribute to hap? led development and the strengthened equity kaupapa. Ideally you will have led work streams, have lots of initiative and can lgain quickly. Accuracy and attention to detail is also critical in this team. You will have a professional attitude and be able to evidence: » Te Ao M?ori world view and lived practice » knowledge and knowledge ofhap?led development. » public service integrity » strong communication expertise – written and oral » strong report writing expertise » excellent relationship management and collaboration expertise » capability to plan, organise and manage work effectively to meet multiple deadlines » capability to rapidly adapt in a changing environment. » practice working with online systems and use of Microsoft products. Key tasks for this function include: » Advisory support for Oranga Marae and other funds within the National Funds - Te Ao M?ori team » Supporting the grants process including – processing, monitoring, reporting, advisory and liaison with local and regional advisor » Building rapport and credibility with internal stakeholders and key partners to ensure a collaborative and integrated approach with the National Funds Te Ao M?ori team » Supporting the facilitation, development of learning and development resources for Oranga Marae, Hap?
