Concrete WorkerLocation All TasmanTasman Job type Full Time Salary to Category Construction & Architecture > Labourer » Work Life Balance - Monday to Friday work hours » Above NZ Living Wage 2021 » Immediate start for the right candidates Our National Client is on the hunt for concrete workers to help them in a legacy project you'll be proud to be involved in. There is hard work and long hours involved so is not for the faint hearted. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work unsupervised, will take ownership of their role and doesn't mind rolling up the sleeves when required. The normal shift times are » 5 am to 5pm with flexibility required. Your role will include but not limited to » read and interpret plans or drawings » weigh and mix concrete materials (gravel, sand, cement and water) » sample and test the mix » prepare boxing (formwork) and/or lay reinforcing » pour, spread, compact, smooth and polish concrete, by hand or machine » install items such as anchor bolts into concrete » cut concrete using power cutters.
