There is hard work and long hours involved so is not for the faint hearted. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work unsupervised, will take ownership of their role and doesn't mind rolling up the sleeves when required. The normal shift times are » 5 am to 5pm with flexibility required. Your role will include but not limited to » Selecting the method of lifting by considering the nature of the load, » Inspecting lifting gear (for suitability and condition) » Directing the operator of a crane or hoist in the movement of a load. » Secure a load using mechanical load shifting equipment » Erect or dismantle cranes or hoists.
